The Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) has appointed three new non-executive Board members, who will serve for three years from 1 July 2021.  The new Board members are:

  • Geoff Smyth who has held customer service leadership roles across multiple sectors including telecommunications, automotive and aviation over a period of 30 years
  • Kalpesh Brahmbhatt who has over 20 years’ experience of working for UK regulators in sectors including communications, water, railways, energy and financial services and
  • Sukhvinder Kaur-Stubbs who has served on the boards of two large registered providers and has held senior positions in a range of organisations including a regional development agency and English Partnerships.

The new appointees will bring significant experience in the customer experience, consumer regulation and equality, diversity and inclusion to the RSH, areas which were prominent in The charter for social housing residents: social housing white paper.
