In the week commencing Monday 15 January 2024 the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH):

  • wrote to registered providers confirming the fees it will charge for Q1 in 2024/25. Providers with 1,000 or more social homes will pay an annual equivalent of £5.48 per home, an increase of 1.5%, whilst the annualised fee for providers with less than 1,000 homes will be maintained at £300.  The RSH is analysing responses to its September 2023 consultation on fees with revised fees anticipated to be charged from 1 July 2024 and
  • published 13 Regulatory Judgements in which eight providers retained their existing gradings for Governance and Viability. Broadacres HA and English Rural HA were regraded from V1 to V2, Cambridge HS and Wakefield and District Housing were regraded from V2 to V1, and Trident HA was downgraded from G1 to G2
