Housing Ombudsman publishes 2020/21 Annual Complaints Review

The Housing Ombudsman has published its 2020-21 Annual Complaints Review, its first ever such review.  The review considers the period between 1 April 2020 and 31 March 2021.  In that period the Ombudsman considered 2,185 complaints and made 3,872 findings for 320 landlords, with one landlord accounting for 122 cases determined.

The Ombudsman has also reviewed its Complaint Handling Code and strengthened it to support a positive complaint handling culture.
