In the week commencing Monday 30 September 2024 the Housing Ombudsman:
- launched a special investigation into Wandle HA. Wandle has a maladministration rate of 89% and the investigation will assess whether the complaints are indicative of wider failure within the landlord and
- released its special investigation report into GreenSquareAccord. The investigation found that the landlord had 93% and 79% maladministration rates respectively for complaint handling and property condition in the cases reviewed, compared with national averages of 76% and 54%. The report sets out four key themes and makes recommendations in relation to complaint handling; compensation; policies, procedures and governance; and repairs.
