The Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) has published its Fees statement 2021 to 2022. The statement sets out the RSH’s budget for the year which totals £21.058 million. It is anticipated that £14.743 million of funding will come from fees charged to registered providers, with the balance of £6.315 million forecast to be received as Grant in Aid from the Government.
The statement also confirms the following fee levels for 2021/22:
- £300 per annum for small providers (providers with less than 1,000 social housing units)
- £5.36 per unit per annum for large providers (providers with 1,000 social housing units or more) and
- an initial fee of £2,500 for newly registered providers.
The annual fee for small providers and the initial registration fee are both unchanged from 2020/21, whilst the per unit fee for large providers has fallen from £5.42 per unit in 2020/21.
